Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan elected Sahibzada Waseem Haider as its 40th Nazim-e-Aala for the 2026–27 session through a secret ballot, according to the group’s central information secretary.
Sahibzada Waseem Haider has been elected the 40th Nazim-e-Aala of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan. Central Information Secretary Tayyab Chauhan said the election was for a one-year term for the 2026–27 session and was held through secret balloting by the members. He said Waseem Haider is a PhD student in Public Relations at the University of Peshawar and has previously served in roles including Mo’tamid-e-Aam, Nazim Khyber, Secretary Khyber Province, and Nazim Peshawar.
