President Asif Ali Zardari held separate meetings with Senator Faisal Vawda and Pakistan Peoples Party senior leader Imtiaz Sheikh in Islamabad. According to an official statement, the meetings included discussion on matters of mutual interest, the country’s current political situation, and parliamentary affairs. In the meeting with Senator Faisal Vawda, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and Dr Asim Hussain were also present. In a separate meeting, Imtiaz Sheikh met the President and matters related to Sindh came under consideration. Former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Senator Faisal Vawda were also present during that meeting. Overall, the meetings focused on the prevailing political environment and parliamentary issues.
